Good questions, straight answers
Do I need to know anything about computers or websites?
No. If you can send a WhatsApp, you can build your website. You answer a few easy questions and we make a starting website for you. Then you click on anything to change it, in plain words.
Is there really no commission on my sales?
Yes. Claycraft never takes a cut. Customers pay you directly: into your bank by EFT, in cash, or by card through your own PayFast or Yoco account (they charge their own small card fee; EFT and cash cost nothing).
What do I need to get started?
Your business name, a phone number or email, and a few photos from your phone. That’s it. You can add everything else later.
Can I use my own address, like mybusiness.co.za?
Yes, at no extra cost from us. You buy the name from any domain seller (a .co.za is usually around R100 a year) and connect it in Settings. We show you exactly what to do, and we can help.
Can I change my website later?
Any time, as often as you like. Change the words, photos, colours and pages, then press Publish. Nothing changes for visitors until you do.
What if I get stuck?
Ask a real person. Every screen has a “help” button, and we answer in plain words. No question is too small.
Does it work on my phone?
Your website works beautifully on phones. You can also handle orders, messages and products from your phone. Changing the design is easiest on a computer or tablet.
